Our local branch of Nazarene Mission International (NMI) seeks to raise awareness of the many forms of ministry taking place throughout the world.  While many of us are not able to travel to other parts of the world to share the Gospel and make disciples, we are still able to help spread that message through the efforts of the local church.

How can you get involved?

Crisis Care Kits:

Each month NMI collects an item to be put into a Crisis Care kit. These kits are sent throughout the world to areas that have been affected by disasters. After the Earthquake struck Haiti on January 12th, 2010 thousands of kits were sent into the country to help the relief effort.

If you would like to donate items, please leave them at the NMI table in the foyer of the Church.

Alabaster Boxes:

How often do we think about the value of our change? NMI has been collecting spare change in Alabaster Boxes for years, and it has really added up. Several times a year NMI collects spare change, and it is then put to work through out the world. The change from Alabaster Boxes has been used to build over 3,300 churches, 36 hospitals and clinics, and over 350 Bible schools to train new Pastors.

Start collecting your spare change for the next Alabaster Sunday!

Perhaps the most important way that we can support missionaries and their work is through prayer. The Church of the Nazarene has missionaries in 51 world areas. These missionaries have followed the call of God to leave their families and friends in order to share the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. Some of these missionaries put their very lives at risk with their work. Please pray for these missionaries and their families, that God would protect them and bless their work.
